2nd day of meeting Norman Reedus!
When it was our turn to meet him, Norman looked right at me and smiled. I was literally speechless at that very moment. My big sister Sammie let him know I was nervous, because of how much of a fan I am of his. He takes my hand softly in his, looked straight at me, helped break my shyness a bit. Then I finally had the courage to look at him in the face and say what I have always wanted to say to him. I told him I thought he was a wonderful actor and artist, and how much I admired his work. Then as scared I was admitting, I actually told him…
…that I loved him very much. Almost as if I was “confessing my love” for him, but I didn't want him to think I meant it that way at all! I almost started to regret saying what I said. I felt like such a nervous wreck in front of the man I was such a huge fan of and how inspirational he is to me. All I could think was how much of a creepy idiot he probably thought I was, and that was an impression I did NOT want to leave.
But afterwards, everything ended up being okay. Norman still had that beautiful smile glowing at me, still softly held my hand, and he responded, “Awww you are so sweet, thank you!” He made me feel a little more relieved. Then he was so kind to autograph my photo OP of him and I from the night before and my Daryl Dixon poster.

After getting my items signed, I told Norman I made something for him and lifted my gift basket toward him. The expression of excitement spread across his whole face and he right away takes it and starts unwrapping it. I was able to give him my two artworks of me "kissing him" on the cheek.

When Norman saw the last one, he said with that beautiful smile, “Wow that is awesome! People are always giving me “s***” saying how I wear that button shirt and tie all the time.”
That’s when I started to smile and giggle, not because of what he said, but it made me so happy seeing how happy he looked and how adorable he was acting. He actually did look as if he really enjoyed my piece. IN FACT, instead of putting it back into the gift basket, Norman got up from his seat and set the framed drawing I made for him at the end of his table! He left it standing there all day for everyone to see!
Norman came back, thanked me for his gift, and he was so kind to let me give him a hug from across the table! He even pulled my head into his arm, he felt so soft and warm. Lastly, just before we had to go, Sammie ended up asking if it was alright with him,
"Can she give you a quick kiss before we leave?"
With no hesitation, Norman surprisingly leaned farther across the table once more, turned his face, and actually gave me the amazing chance to give him that quick kiss on his cheek. It was the most amazing feeling and experience in the whole world.

Norman Reedus, I have no idea if you will ever see this post, or if I will ever get another chance to meet you again, or even what you thought about me. But in case I never get that chance, I want to take the time to say this.
No that no matter how much of a "creepy, idiotic, and a HUGE nervous & speechless wreck" you probably thought I was, I cannot tell you enough how appreciative I am, you taking the time from your busy schedule, for making this first experience the very best in the whole world. You made me feel very welcome and so special that day. Everything I said about you being the most wonderfully talented actor and artist, how much I admired your work, and how inspirational you are to me, I meant every single word.
Please never ever change a thing. You are absolutely perfect, a complete sweetheart, and incredibly amazing just you being yourself. You are unlike any celebrity, you did not just come out of thin air. It’s not everyday we can have and see someone as special and unique as you.
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Portland, OR and I hope you made it back home safe and sound. Thank you again so very much for everything.
