I always think about you and me
how we used to lay in bed at night and listened to the sound of the rain
I remember those times I was scared at night
and I would walk into your room and ask you to sleep with me in my bedroom
you would tell me fairy tales at night before bed while holding my hand
after the story you would sing to me a song with your beautiful voice
when you were done telling fairy tales and singing your songs you would tell me you love me
I would say it back and I meant it
you would leave me in my bedroom alone
but I had nothing to fear I had the rain to listen to
the rain relaxed me every time

it feels so strange
like something is fluttering inside of me
something like a bunch of butterflies flying around in me
when ever I see your face, I feel all crazy like I'm gonna do something stupid in front of you
but I have another feeling
it feels like hugging a soft cuddly teddy bear

you have always been by my side and always cared about me
and I never knew
it feels like I have finally opened up my eyes
and I could see again
you were always a dear friend to me

This was origionally my final assignment in my drawing class last semester. It's suppose to be me! x'D

Thanks to my AWESOME art teacher Mrs. Marchetti, she helped me enter this piece in a contest at our local art school. It was her idea to enter it in one in the first place. Although I do not like to enter many contests, I thought I would give this one a shot. Besides, I had a good feeling about this one.

Mrs. Marchetti once told me that if I wanna get myself out there and show the world what I can do, take EVERY opportunity as possible! I want to live by her advice in the future. Thanks to her, she has helped me become a better artist over the years. I am really going to miss her when I graduate this year.

aw that's really nice. i'm glad you connect with your art teacher. i connected with mine too. he was my elementary art teacher and my good friends dad. so i saw him alot and still do even though i'm graduated. are you planning on going to school for art?

Someday yes

But I don't see myself going right after highschool.
I don't have the money to get me to the art school I wanna go to yet.
So I'm hoping to go in about a year or 2.
